Chocolate lava cake is a delightful dessert that combines the rich, decadent flavors of a chocolate cake with a gooey,

molten center. This dish, believed to have originated in France, has become a favorite in many households due to its simple yet indulgent nature.

The beauty of this recipe lies in its simplicity, requiring just four ingredients and a slow cooker, making it accessible for both novice and experienced cooks.

Perfect for a cozy night in or a special occasion, this chocolate lava cake is sure to impress with its luscious texture and intense chocolate flavor.
This chocolate lava cake pairs beautifully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of freshly whipped cream.

For a touch of freshness, consider serving it with sliced strawberries or raspberries. A drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce can also enhance the dessert’s

richness. If you prefer a bit of crunch, sprinkle some crushed nuts or chocolate shavings on top. A cup of freshly brewed coffee or a glass of milk makes for a perfect accompaniment to balance the sweetness.
Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Chocolate Lava Cake

Servings: 6

Ingredients
1 box of chocolate cake mix
1 package of instant chocolate pudding mix
2 cups of milk
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix and instant chocolate pudding mix.
Add the milk to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared slow cooker.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the top of the batter.

Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly gooey.
Once cooked, turn off the slow cooker and let the cake sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
Variations & Tips

For a richer flavor, try using dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. You can also add a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a pinch of espresso powder to the batter for an extra depth of flavor. If you prefer a more intense chocolate experience, consider using a

chocolate fudge cake mix. To make it more festive, top the cake with colorful sprinkles or edible glitter before serving. For a nutty twist, mix in a handful of chopped walnuts or pecans into the batter.
